About the Festival

Movement & Mindfulness Festival is more than a traditional market or expo.
This is a thoughtfully curated wellness experience that brings together:
  • movement and yoga
  • mindfulness and meditation
  • healing arts and holistic wellness
  • education and community circles
  • curated vendors and artisans
  • meaningful community connection

Our goal is to create an environment where attendees stay longer, engage more deeply, and truly connect with the people and businesses they meet.

Why Vendors & Presenters Love This Ecosystem

We’ve designed this experience with vendors and practitioners in mind.

•
A Curated Experience
We intentionally balance vendor categories to avoid oversaturation and ensure each business has space to shine.

• Meaningful Connections
This is an environment where conversations happen — not just quick transactions.

•
Designed for Service-Based Businesses
Healers, readers, and practitioners are supported with an atmosphere that allows for real client connection and engagement.

• Community-Centered Marketing
Vendors are featured as part of the event — not just listed.

• A Modern Wellness Audience
Attract attendees who are genuinely interested in wellness, growth, and connection.

How We Promote Our Events

Movement & Mindfulness Events are promoted through a combination of:
  • Social media marketing (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Community Facebook groups
  • Local event calendars
  • Email newsletters
  • Cross-promotion with participating vendors and presenters
  • Printed posters and promotional materials
  • Community partnerships
  • Promotion at other wellness festivals and events throughout Manitoba
Our October 2026, February 2027 and April 2027 events were promoted as early as July at the Of Earth and Fire Women’s Festival, allowing us to begin building awareness months in advance.

Marketing Highlights
  • Marketing begins approximately 2–3 months before each event.
  • Every participating vendor receives at least one dedicated social media feature.
  • Promotion includes Facebook, Instagram, community groups, email, and local event listings.
  • Vendors are encouraged to collaborate by sharing event content, expanding the event’s reach through their own communities.

Because this is a curated event with limited vendor spaces, our focus is on attracting attendees who are genuinely interested in wellness, learning, and meaningful connection—not simply maximizing foot traffic.

Who Thrives at These Events

Businesses and practitioners who thrive at Movement & Mindfulness Events are those who:
  • Value connection and community
  • Enjoy engaging with attendees
  • Create meaningful experiences
  • Are excited to collaborate and grow alongside others
  • Contribute positively to the overall atmosphere of the event

Meaningful Experiences Over Transactions
Movement & Mindfulness Events are intentionally designed to create connection, education, engagement, and community — for both attendees and participating businesses.

Vendor Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • Vendor spaces are confirmed once payment has been received.
  • Because event planning and venue commitments begin well in advance, vendor fees are non-refundable.
  • If you can no longer attend, your fee may be transferred to another approved Movement & Mindfulness event within 12 months, subject to availability.
  • No transfers will be issued within 14 days of the event.

Presenters & Workshops

At this event, all vendors have the opportunity to present, share, or lead a session as part of the event programming.

This allows practitioners, educators, and businesses to:
  • showcase their work
  • connect with attendees in a more meaningful way
  • build visibility and credibility within the community

If you are interested in presenting, you can indicate this in your application.

Presentation opportunities are part of the overall vendor experience, and a vendor space is required to participate.

There is no pressure to present or facilitate. Vendors who simply wish to share and sell their products are welcome and valued.

Curated Programming & Event Experience

Movement & Mindfulness Events are designed to create engaging, thoughtful, and high-quality experiences for both attendees and vendors.

Event Layout & Space Planning:
Booths are thoughtfully arranged based on the type of experience each participant provides. Retail vendors are typically assigned a standard vendor space, while readers, healers, and practitioners offering one-on-one sessions may be positioned with additional spacing to create a more comfortable setting for client consultations and conversations. Our goal is to design an event layout that supports every participant while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Presentation opportunities:
Presentors are curated to create a balanced and engaging experience. We prioritize interactive, educational, movement-based, mindfulness, healing, and community-focused sessions that encourage participation.

Event spaces may include

  • Workshop area
  • Community Circles
  • Movement Space
  • Mini experience Area

Our goal is to create experiences — not just transactions.

Q & A

Q. Can I share a vendor space?
A. Yes. Vendor spaces may be shared by a maximum of two businesses, provided both businesses are listed on the application and are approved by the event organizer. Additional businesses are not permitted within the same vendor space.

Q: Do tables and chairs come with my space?
A. Yes. An 8-foot table and chairs are available upon request at no additional charge.

Q. What if I need more space?
A. Vendor spaces are designed around one 8-foot table. If your display requires additional room, you will need to reserve an additional vendor space, subject to availability.

Q. Can I apply as both a vendor and a presenter?
A. Absolutely! All vendors are welcome to apply to present. Presentation opportunities are curated and selected based on the overall event program.

Q. Can I present without being a vendor?
A. At this time, presentation opportunities are reserved for approved vendors.

Q. How are vendors selected?
A. Applications are reviewed based on category balance, alignment with the event vision, professionalism, and how each offering contributes to the overall attendee experience.

Q. When is my space confirmed?
A. Your space is confirmed once your application has been approved and payment has been received.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Vendor fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your fee may be transferred to another approved Movement & Mindfulness Event within 12 months, subject to availability. Transfers are not available within 14 days of the event.

A. This depends on the venue. Please indicate on your application if you require access to electricity, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Q. Can I sell food or beverages?
A. Only pre-approved vendors may sell food or beverages, and all applicable health and safety regulations must be followed.

Q. Can I choose my booth location?
A. Booth locations are assigned by the event organizers to create the best possible experience for attendees and participants.

Q. Why are vendor spaces curated?
A. Our goal is to create a balanced, engaging event where attendees can explore a wide variety of offerings without one category becoming oversaturated. Curating the event helps create a better experience for everyone and gives each vendor the opportunity to shine.

Q. Do I need insurance?
A. Businesses providing hands-on or physical services, such as massage therapy, fitness instruction, yoga, or other movement-based activities, must provide proof of valid liability insurance before participating in the event. Depending on the nature of your services, additional documentation may also be required. If you’re unsure whether this applies to your business, please contact us before submitting your application.
