Class Info:
  • This class is fun and lighthearted! Expect lots of smiles and laughs, and a deeper connection with the person you are practicing with.
  • This class is all partner based; either a romantic partner or a friend!
  • Please note: if you are practicing with a friend, there will be touching of hands and on shoulders.
  • This class is beginner friendly, adaptable and accessible as always!
  • Class Style - Hatha Vinyasa: A blend of flowing and holding poses, building strength and practicing balance. More details HERE.

Please note: If anyone needs a chair please let me know in advance. Thanks!

What to bring:

Yoga Mat, Bottle of water, and wear comfortable clothing.

Puppy Yoga
March 15th, 2023
​Fundraiser for the Winnipeg Giant Breed Rescue

A blend of flowing and holding poses, building strength and practicing balance.

Chair Yoga:
​
Chair yoga is a unique style of yoga that adapts traditional yoga positions and poses through creative use of a chair. We will incorporate a mix of seated poses and standing poses, while using the chair for support. our focus is on stretching, strength building, practicing balance, and reducing stress.
Choices will be offered through class; choosing what our bodies need, just for that day.
If you have blocks or straps please bring them along with your yoga mat. If you do not have, no worries! I bring along a large bag of props to every class!

​Chair Yoga Workshop

This workshop includes:
 
  • 30 min chair yoga class
  • 10-15 min meditation
  • Handout with poses you can do at home
 
In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of yoga, including meditation, mindful breathing and basic yoga poses…without having to get down on the floor. Chair yoga is a unique style of yoga that adapts traditional yoga positions and poses through creative use of a chair. We will incorporate a mix of seated poses and standing poses, while using the chair for support. Choices will be offered through class; choosing what our bodies need, just for that day.
 
This class is body positive, in a non-judgemental and non-competitive environment.
 
During this workshop we will listen to our bodies – do what feels good, and never force ourselves into a place of pain or discomfort.
 
Why do yoga in a chair?
 
  • Listening to our bodies, choosing what we need just for that day. And if we need a chair then that is what we choose!
  • The chair helps with stability and support.
  • Choosing a chair in our practice may help those with certain health conditions, including recovering from an injury or surgery.
  • Individuals with desk jobs, who are looking for ways they can take small stretch breaks during their shift.
  • Individuals wishing to explore yoga poses before going down to a yoga mat.
 
What are the benefits of doing yoga in a chair?
 
  • Increases circulation
  • Strengthens muscles
  • Increases flexibility and lubricates joints
  • Improves range of motion & mobility
  • Improves balance
  • Calms the mind, promotes relaxation and improves concentration

Meditation Workshop
April 15, 2023
Fundraiser for Tails of Freedom ​🐾

This workshop includes:


  • Learning to tune into the breath
  • 3 Types of meditation
  • Journaling
 
There are many benefits to meditation. In this class, we will explore a basic breathing technique, and learn 3 types of meditations. These meditations are easy to learn and can be done anytime you need. In between meditations, we will journal our thoughts and experiences.
A meditation 101 sheet will be provided to each attendee.
 
This class is body positive, in a non-judgemental and non-competitive environment.
 
During this workshop we will listen to our bodies – do what feels good, and never force ourselves into a place of pain or discomfort.
